Here is an oldie I found in the back of my recipe book! My granny’s out-of-this-world biscuit recipe that she use to make during Christmas time!! This is a top secret family recipe…..

Description


The most delicious Christmas cookies, from a secret family recipe!


Ingredients

  • 4 cups flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 cups castor sugar
  • 1/2 cup cranberries
  • 100g white chocolate rounds (4 oz.)
  • 1 cup butter
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Sift together flour, salt, castor sugar.
  2. Add to this dry mix butter (melted) eggs and vanilla extract.
  3. Then add cranberries and white chocolate rounds.
  4. Roll out, cut out and decorate as you feel.
  5. Place on well buttered baking tray and put in 180°c (350°f) oven for 15-18 min.

    Hi , can I ask an amateur baking question ? How do I measure one cup of butter , do I push softened butter into the cup or do I ‘melt’ butter till it measures one cup ? H.e.l.p.
