Sandwich Cake


Description

A super easy recipe that makes a classic and tasty double layer sandwich cake.


Ingredients

  • 1 ¾ cups flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 125g butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup milk
  • 3 tsp baking powder
  • pinch of salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla essence

Instructions

  1. Cream butter and sugar.
  2. Add eggs – one at a time.
  3. Add vanilla essence.
  4. Add sifted flour, salt and baking powder alternately with milk.
  5. Bake for 25 minutes at 190°C – in two round tins.
