Each month we’re going to take a look at a few food words in different languages worldwide. Let’s start with Japanese!

  • breakfast – cho’shoku, asameshi
  • lunch – chu’jiki
  • dinner – gosan, bansan
  • beer – biiru, bakushu
  • coffee – ko’hi, kafe
  • juice – shiru, ekiju
  • milk – gyu’nyu, miruku
