- 2 eggs
- 5 tbsp sugar
- 1 ½ tbsp butter, melted
- 4 tsp baking powder
- 1/3 tsp salt

- Add half of the milk and the melted butter to the egg mixture.
- Stir well.
- Sift the flour, baking powder and salt and add to the egg mixture.
- Gradually stir in the remaining milk to form a smooth mixture.
- If all ingredients are well mixed then don’t stir anymore.

- Serve with butter and syrup, honey or jam.

Try using buttermilk instead of milk. Also, 250ml Nestle mini semi-sweet morsels work well. When I make them that way, I only use butter. No syrup, honey…
Great recipe – I had to add a little milk as the mixture was a little thick
Thanks, great recipe! We served it with bacon & maple syrup for brunch on a lazy Sunday… 🙂 I did put about 1/2 cup more milk in to get the right consistency.

great recipe and also easy to make as this is my first attempt of pancakes… thanks for sharing this recipe..
Tried them this morning and overall they turned out very well but i couldn’t manage to get them smooth lightbrown colored like on the pic in the header… i used a simple frying pan and salted butter as grease and they turned out more goldenlike with a brown center and sides, suggestions how to get this smooth brown flapjack are welcome!! also i could only make +-10 flapjacks instead of the 25-30 like stated in the recipe, although i didn’t use a big pan. would be great if someone could help me out with those issues 🙂
